To ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff, our clinic has a zero-tolerance policy for rude, aggressive, or abusive language and behaviour.

We understand that medical visits can be stressful, and we are committed to treating every patient with care and respect. In return, we expect all patients and visitors to communicate respectfully with our team and others in the clinic.

The following behaviours will not be tolerated:

• Physical violence or aggression including unwelcome physical contact
• Verbal abuse including disrespectful, demeaning or abusive language/comments
• Remarks, jokes or innuendos that degrade, ridicule or offend
• Threats or threatening behaviour;
• Intimidation;
• Bullying or harassment;
• Sexual harassment or sexual abuse
• Discriminatory behaviour or remarks;
• Damage to property;
• Repeated non-compliance with clinic policies; or
• Any conduct that compromises safety or violates clinic standards

Patients who engage in such behaviour may be asked to leave the clinic immediately and, in serious cases, may be dismissed.
